Your Humana Spending Account Card Benefits As a Humana member, you receive additional support to enhance your quality of life. To begin, activate your card and establish your online account.

Allowance amounts cannot be combined with other benefit allowances. Certain limitations and restrictions may apply.

What is the Healthy Foods Card?

How do members use their cards? :

Activate the card. Visit a participating store. Shop for approved healthy foods. Check out. Swipe the Healthy Foods Card first to pay for approved purchases. To find out which Humana plans offer this benefit, visit firstlook.Humana.com.

Eligible food items will be automatically covered up to the available balance. Separate payment will be necessary for ineligible items or if the item costs exceed the card balance. To check your balance, call the number on the back of your card or visit www.HealthyFoodsCard.com. Humana Customer Care is available to assist with lost or stolen cards and other card-related issues.

What can I purchase with my card?

You can use your benefits to purchase thousands of approved foods and beverages. Refer to the convenient list below when shopping for qualifying foods.

Items that are ineligible include non-food and pet items, alcohol, baby formula, candy, chips, coffee shop items, desserts, fresh baked goods, soda, and tobacco.

Check Your Card Balance

Effortlessly check your card balance without logging into your account! Just enter your 16-digit card number on the front of the card, along with the 3-digit security/CVV code on the back.

How to Utilize Benefits for Online Shopping

  1. Navigate to the “About” page and click on “Shop Now” under the “Ways to Order” section.
  2. Add all the approved items you intend to purchase to your cart on Walmart.com.
  3. Review your cart and proceed to the “Check Out” stage. You can either sign in or continue as a Guest.
  4. Choose your preferred delivery method – home delivery or store pickup. Input any necessary delivery details.
  5. Select ‘Gift Card’ as your payment method and input your 17-digit card number and the 4-digit security code located on the back of your Healthy Benefits+ card.
  6. Click “Apply Gift Card,” and your benefits will be automatically applied to eligible items in your cart.
  7. Keep in mind that your benefits will only be used for eligible items up to the available benefit balance. You’ll need to provide an alternative form of payment for items that are ineligible.

Using Benefits for Prepared Meals and Produce Boxes

  1. Visit Mom’s Meals to explore available prepared meals, produce, and pantry boxes.
  2. Follow the provided ordering instructions.
  3. During checkout, use your 17-digit account number and the 4-digit security code.

Using Benefits for In-Store Shopping

  1. Employ the online store finder or the Healthy Benefits+ mobile app to locate a participating store nearby.
  2. While in the store, you can use the product scanner in the mobile app to verify item eligibility.
  3. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, have the cashier scan your Healthy Benefits+ card or the mobile app barcode before using any other payment method.
  4. Your benefits will be immediately applied to the transaction.
  5. Remember, your benefits can only be applied to approved foods and beverages within your available benefit balance. For items that aren’t eligible, you’ll need to use a different payment method.
