This past weekend, we headed out to see our friend and long time Hellz Bellz collaborator, Yuka Choco moo for her first LA Art Exhibition at TAG (The Art Gallery) on Melrose. It was totally her… and by that I mean, it was super kawaii and showcased her love of pop culture, hip hop with black and white illustrations in a style that is sooooo Choco Moo…. LOVE HER!!!

Gaaaawd… I can’t wait for summer. I’m itching to whip out my bralette’s, denim short shorts and anything and everything in my closet that screams summer time!!! Until then I have to cope with the bi-polar LA weather… one day it’s raining or chilly, the next day it’s sunny as fuck. Today was a combination of the two so I dressed accordingly.

I’ve literally been living in my bralette and just throwing anything on top that still gives yah a lil’ peek a boo… Along with that, my Dr. Marten’s are ALWAYS  a staple in my outfits… rain, shine or summer time.

My friend and internationally known Malaysian-born songstress, YUNA just released her much anticipated  new digital EP titled, “Sixth Street,” the follow up to her debut self-titled album, ‘YUNA,’ that was released last year. We were lucky enough to watch her perform the full album for a live streaming via StageIT.com in our building last night that we share with Indie Pop.

YUNA explained, “‘Sixth Street’ is probably a new chapter for me. All of the songs were written in my apartment where I’m most comfortable, and at that point I understood who I was and knew what I was feeling about life.”

“Sixth Street” is completely refreshing and showcases her angelic voice that she’s synonymous for along with her growth as a singer/song writer.

It’s another manic Friday in the office and I have my right hand WOman Holly in the office with me so you know shit is about to crack! It’s quite easy to get intimidated by these two fashion forward ladies but non the less i’ve come correct to bring ya flicks of our HBIC MISSLAWN and Holly Molly.

We obviously catch a good 15 mins out of the office to take these flicks and we OBVIOUSLY have our “girl talks”….

Me: YO Holly…straight up if you were stranded on an island for the rest of your life who would be the absolute last person you would want to be stranded with?

Hallelujah & thank GOD for Robin Thicke!!! I mean… JT who?! doh… For real tho, Robin Thicke is the REAL Suit & Tie hottie and you don’t even know how psyched I am that he came out with his new song, Blurred Lines during the hype of JT’s new album. Talk about a big FU-fool, ha!

Seriously this song has been on repeat in the car, in the office and in my head… “HEY HEY HEY HEY!” and if Robin Thicke wasn’t enough, you’ve got not 1 but 2 other fine fellas on the track, Pharell & TI…. argggghh, I can’t!!!
