“It’s morning. Sunlight shines upon your sleeping face.”
He is beautiful. Absolutely-kick-me-in-the-face beautiful. I open my eyes and stare but my bladder makes me get out of bed and answer nature’s call. On my way back into his bed I check my phone — no messages.
Fuck it, I’ll stay just a little while longer then. I smirk thinking about last night as I lay my head in his nook and trace the tattoo on his chest with my fingers. I close my eyes.
Flashes of last night play in my head: how wide he smiled when I came to the door, how he said “I’m so glad you came” when he opened it. How it took exactly 10 minutes to undress me and how I loved every second of it.
As I hit rewind, I am reminded about my Smirker and Angel — how comfortable she seemed, how delighted he was to have her attention — and with the thought of me being just another conquest, I feel the jealousy creep back into my veins.
I look at The Smirker with a lil’ bit of disgust, hesistate for just a second and close my eyes. “Lord, please give me a sign. What am I supposed to do?”
Flustered, I get up to go. Go back to my own house with my own thoughts and my own life. But before I’m able to swing both legs around, his arm finds mine and he whispers… “Stay.”
If only he knew, I could stay here all day.
In that instant, I make my decision. I don’t give a fuck about my missed calls, or texts, or voicemails. I don’t give a fuck about my boyfriend or our fake relationship. The only thing I give a fuck about right now, is, well… fucking.
I smirk, and so does he.
