Hellz Night Out

Every 2nd Thursday of the month, the streets of Downtown LA are flooded with all kinds of walks of life from LA…everyone from North Hollywood to the 909 area of the Inland Empire. The people who you don’t normally see around(and trust me, when you’re in LA…you know EVERYONE or you’ve seen EVERYONE) come out to spend a night of exhibiting galleries, eating food from roach coaches, and gasping at the sight of a cute boy with a mustache (in my case, especially.) Last Thursday was no exception. The whole Hellz office made their way to the Upper Playground shop for M.I.S.S.’s Paper Doll exhibit, which featured many respectful designers and artist with their personal take on the typical paper dolls we girls all know and used to love (or maybe still do.)
The show was really cute! I was excited to see how colorful each piece was, and it definitely held my attention.Got some more Vans testimonials with Gabriella and Liz of M.I.S.S. (they’re seriously so adorable!) and found out that the guy who works at that cool furniture store whom I’ve been crushing on for the last 4 months actually liked boys…I think it had to do with the way he was saying the word “Vase” . All-in-All…it was a really good night. Ended the night with Kenza from Hearty Magazine and Jolie at this ramen place down in little Tokyo….amazing night! It reminded me as to why I’m still single. hahahahah.
I love Kate Moss as a paper doll…I wish I had this as a little girl.

It was so cute. These girls came up to Lanie super excited to take her photo. It was also hilarious because Lawn was like “Do you read our blog?” and they were like “YEAH! OF COURSE!” then Lawn was like “This is Brittany!” Their reaction: “oh….cool….” LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m sorry, It was so funny to me.
Um Hello…I totally want a naked, balloon head, hairy paper doll..uh duh.
There was HELLZ fans all over the streets of LA! Preeeetty cute!
I can’t wait for the next art walk…cute boys EVERYWHERE! Oh…and really good art too! haha

LOL, omg.. if I was to see you Britt. I would ask to take a picture with you too. I read the blog and I know who you are because you do Photoshoot and Hellz A Poppin’ posts, haha idk.. I thought that was funny. Lol, the dude at the furniture store.. does he pronounce vase as vass instead of vace.

And I forgot to mention, Gabriella! I’m kind of sad that she stopped making clothes for Mama clothing, or so it seems.

ive actually met Gabriella before cus my good friend dates her hubbys brother…but ahhh it would my dream to meet miss lawn! and her crew too…including you brit! great blog postings and photoshoots guys

omgosh i remember when i met brit at the hellz sample sale in dec! i looked like SHIT! it was raining and ugh, what a mess. but she asked to take a pic of my shirt and my HELLZxMISSWAX ring, and i woulda taken a pic with her but i looked FUUUUGLYYY. lol i couldnt leave without telling her i LOVED her blog and read it religiously lol
and i loved it too!!! she was soooo cute! hahaha she kept ranting about how no one wanted donuts and if we were all on a diet lol!!! (btw brit i would have totally ate one, but i already had breakfast! :[)
and then i noticed there was an extra gift bag, and the first 5 had already got theres, and since i waaaas #6, i had to ask if i could have it! lol
but yes, i loved her
i wanted to go to this so bad

LMAO!!!!!! Sindy! That was you?! Awww! hahaha, I’m glad I met you woman! You didn’t look a mess, trust me…I looked like a nasty little boy that day.
Yeah, it pissed me off that no one ate the donuts…that shit was expensive, and I had like 3 that morning! haha. It was good meeting you!
Aw, thanks guys! hahahah…it was just funny to me but totally understandable. I’m no Miss Lawn. They were squealing! I loved it!

Aw what how can anyone not be excited to meet you brit?! I’d be squealing my ass off if I saw you, any of the Hellz staff and esp Misslawn! Shoot, hopefully I see you here in SD!
