I’ve got things on my mind.

Our favorite girls at M.I.S.S. are always doing big things. If you know anything about the fashion lifestyle media brand, then you have to know how informative they are with their posts. Just recently, M.I.S.S. launched their viral webseries – Follow The Leader. This week, M.I.S.S. introduces to you Vintage Vandalizm. She’s a stylist, and an artist who brings her inner inspirations to the front table. Clashing era’s and mix-matched pieces are what make up the basic form of her personal style. As the camera follows her fashion in’s-and-out’s, we get a closer look into her life and her deep thoughts regarding style. I fully agree with her statement “…when you really care what others think…it boarders you down.” Such a bold comment to make, because it’s BEYOND true. If we only listened to what we perceive as ‘haute’, or eye-catching, then we could surprisingly wake up in the morning with little less bulk on our shoulders.  It’s only hard to get ready in the morning when you continue to wonder how others will perceive you by the shoes your slipped onto your feet. Taking inspiration from 1940’s pin-ups and the dark aura of Tim Burton, the blogging betty expresses herself and her creative ideas with a modern attitude.

Sketches of Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 handbag collection have just been dropped! With help of the lovely former Dolce & Gabbana handbag designer Paz Shaked Wolf, the line is set to launch 4 different bags with prices ranging from $165 – $395. The collection is set to launch Spring 2011…which makes me wonder about the relevance of the stud detail on each bag? I mean, it HAS carried itself well in the current trend forecast, but I’m interested to see where studs will stand next Spring. Hm….what do you think? Would you spend this much for the bags? I need other opinions besides my own. HA!

Inspired by dark, and morbid themes, the Jewelry line Triskaidekaphobia (otherwise known as fear of the number 13) explores this silly theme with artwork that isn’t quite what it seems. At first glance, you may see a spiked bracelet, but look  a little closer, and in reality it is a row of stringed human teeth. How pleasant. Although the line, when first reading about it, seems a bit scary and un-natural, it is actually quite beautiful and interesting. I love the vintage aspect and quality of each piece, and I guarantee you , that you wont find anything like this in your local Forever 21. Accessories are my new “food”….I don’t need to eat, all I need is some amazing accessories in the form of gold plated teeth. Please, and thank you.
