When I thought Nicolas Kirkwood gave his all with his last collaboration with Rodarte, I thought that was the last and final peek for Nicks designs…but then I see these immaculate shoes dawning illustrations by Keith Haring, and then my mind is blown just a little bit more. We are salivating right now…it is far too good to be true.

Bring together Pin-up models, and animals…and you’ve got yourself some major eye candy. Thank you Natasa Denic…you are beyond talented!I sort of want to put all these up in the office so we can all bask in the beauty that is woman.

Other than mixed media collages, texture driven illustrations are one of the many things that smack a bright smile on my face when it comes to art. 96K Illustrations by Liu Zheng accomplishes this concept flawlessly! Luxurious fabrics with exaggerated creases are the focal points, as faces of fashion make star appearances. Who needs a relationship when you’ve got a set of collages that feed your fancy?
ot art?

Vanity Fair inspires many with their immaculately styled editorials – so much so that artist Village9991 have taken an intriguing knack to them and created flawless collages with past and present fashion covers.

So…how do you get your bosses to trust you with the company camera, AND look fabulous? Carry it in a leopard covered purse/case, why of course!

Designing in the sunny dwellings of Los Angeles, are artist couple Dan and Lisa Soltis, other wise known as – LAS. The duo create one-of-a-kind nature influenced jewelery made from recycled metal, and repurposed leather. Pieces such as rabbit head rings, and leather pins are just a few of the many intricate accessories to lust over with LAS, and of course, who can get over the bull skull over-sized ring? The process consists of Lisa’s 2-d renderings of natures beauty, which resembles withering leaves and fairy-tail-like swirls, and are then skulpted into wax moldings by Dan to create the 3-D rings we all see now. We first encountered their jewelery a few weeks back at the 15 Twenty sample sale on Sunset. It was impossible to look over their way without feeling a stone in out throats that stopped any words from coming out. We were in ‘Awe’…and it was a given – we needed LAS in our lives. Obsessed? I think that’s putting it too lightly…..stalking? Definitely. For further information about the jewelery designers, visit them online!
