Current Obsession: LUSH Bath Bombs

Posted by marianerae on January 24th, 2013

Blue BallShopping at LUSH for women is like a toy store for kids. Every time I go into one, I feel like I have to buy everything! It’s ridic, but if you’ve been to one or are a frequent LUSH shopper, then you know what I mean. Lol. This brings me to their ever-so-amazing Bath Bombs that are hand-crafted in the most feminine setup, it’s almost as if you just want to collect them all and never use them. I’m not one to take baths, but give me one of these babies and it is on and poppin’. I recently discovered how awesome they really were when I bought two of them for my preggo friend, and decided to try one myself. I must have taken 30 minutes to finally settle on one, and I ended up choosing the Bath Bomb that had the most positive reviews – the Big Blue. SMH! With only two ingredients: sea salt and seaweed, it’s crazy to know how much so little can do. The sea salt is described to naturally rid the body of toxins while you relax in the bath, and the seaweed helps soften and nourish the skin. I swear… once you have one “LUSH ball”, you’ll be going back for more…and more…and MORE. Lol. I just bought four more Bath Bombs to try out and I cannot freakin’ wait! Let me tell you a little bit about them, and if you want to treat yourself to a relaxing bath, you should definitely try one out – fill your tub with warm water, drop it in, and let it do it’s thing while you unwind. They range from $3.95 and no more than $7.50 per Bath Bomb. Total D-E-A-L.

ButterballButterball: This is the Bath Bomb I bought for my friend, and she recommended it to me since I told her during the winter my skin gets ridiculously dry. And it doesn’t help that I love my showers hot because that just makes it worse. Lol. Butterball is made of cocoa butter with vanilla scents that help rehydrate dry skin instantly, especially in a warm bath.

Twilight

Twilight: Made of the ultimate relaxation scents – lavendar and tonka – this is perfect if you’re feeling uneasy and want to sleep easy. (I really want to see if this works.) And hence it’s name, it changes colors as you lay in your bath from pinks to purples.

Avobath

Avobath: I got this one because I know how great avocado is for the skin. This along with olive oil helps soothe for softer skin, as well as brightening, while it’s zesty scent is supposed to be calming.

Sex Bomb

Sex Bomb: Don’t you immediately think of Tom Jones after reading that?! Well if not, now you are. LOL! This Bath Bomb is by far the prettiest of all the ones I’ve purchased. This one obviously is meant for a party of two, if you know what I mean. It’s ingredients got me hooked from the get-go! It’s made of “powerful aphrodisiacs” – Jasmine, Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang. (Sounds like a threesome, haha!) Each helps to, and I quote, “relax you as they warm your heart, and other body parts too.” It’s also made of soya milk that creates a cream-lush bath to soothe the skin. KINKY!
