This is totally adorbs. Much love to the peeps at Complex for getting us girls here in-the-know! Love this series by American painter, Gil Elvgren. Featuring the world before photoshop and technology, this “Before & After” series shows off the beauty of things hand made and of natural artistic talent. LOVE!
Inspired by actual photographs taken during the 1950s, this collection of pin-up girl illustrations was created by American painter Gil Elvgren. In an era before Photoshop existed, Gil would reinterpret photographs and use them as a reference in creating his seductive paintings.
