Don’t do drugs, kids.

Ok, so let me just start out by stating that in NO way do I condone the use of drugs. It’s just not me. I’m boring. I know. However, I came across a rather interesting story that I just had to share, due to the total amount of mind-fuckery in affect. Now we can all agree that drugs will take your normal conscious self, and twist it into someone or someTHING utterly different. For instance – normally you’re a very quiet, reserved individual – but the minute someone offers you a bump, you go all ’social butterfly’ on us all. That is exactly what artist, Bryan Lewis Saunders wanted to portray in his recent artistic experiment, where he created several different self-portraits of himself, all of which were created using different drugs. I slightly have a weird fascination with his work, as I – being a non drug using person, have never experienced the assumed sensations apparent in every sketch and doodle. Some of his work is simply magnificent, where others make you wonder…
