Rest in Perfection: Anna Piaggi

It’s a sad day in the fashion world this morning, as we hear news of Vogue Italia writer and editor, Anna Piaggi’s passing. Widely known for her eccentric style, vast collection of hats, and vibrant blue hair, Anna has certainly created a name for herself as being a total trend setter and style icon. I personally have held her high on a pedestal as being a huge inspiration to my closet, along with several others including designers, and museums – like the Victoria and Albert museum, who in 2006 launched an exhibit featuring several hundred pieces from her own closet. It’s a difficult thing to let go of someone so influential, but I know that we can all agree that her spirit will continue to live on. Rest in perfect, Anna Piaggi. I think it’s necessary to dye my hair blue in honor of you.
